ARTICLE 5 - COOKIE POLICY

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a text file deposited when a user consults the content of a website or an online advertisement. It is completely anonymous and only recognises the terminal used for navigation. Cookies allow us to collect information about the user's navigation. When we say "cookie", we mean cookies and similar online tracking technologies.

What types of cookies do we use and why?

We use several types of cookies, which we group into four categories:

  • Technical cookies, these cookies are necessary for you to benefit from all the features of our site, and also enable access to our products and services. For example, these cookies allow you to use the website and log into your account as intended. Without these cookies, some parts of our site and services do not function as they should.
  • Functional cookies, which are used to store a user's shopping cart and login details on the site. This is to save time when ordering and browsing.
  • Audience cookies (e.g. Google Analytics) allow us to measure the audience of the different pages of our website. This allows us to establish statistics in order to understand the behaviour of our users, and thus improve the navigation of our site. This data is collected in an aggregated manner, so each visit is anonymous. The use of cookies by these companies is subject to their own privacy policies, not Headerpop's.
  • Advertising cookies: these allow the display of targeted advertising, and like all other cookies on our site, they are completely anonymous. The cookies allow us to limit the number of times an advertisement is shown, and are used to track the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns on Facebook.

As a reminder, the data obtained is limited. It mainly concerns data on usage, preferences, equipment used, etc. Personal data such as the user's surname, first name or postal address of connection cannot be obtained under any circumstances.

What is the legal basis for the use of cookies?

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act, the user's prior consent is required before any information is stored. This consent is given by accepting the message on the cookie banner that appears when the user first visits the site. On the banner, the user also has the choice to refuse them.

Changing your cookie preferences

The user can disable cookies at any time in the browser settings, or by accessing the cookie banner again using the "Change my preferences" button below:

The setting may change the way you access our services that require the use of cookies. If your browser is configured to refuse all cookies, you will not be able to take advantage of the essential functions of our site, as many cookies enable navigation to function. In order to manage cookies in the way that best suits you, we invite you to configure your browser to take into account the purpose of the cookies.
